Product Description

Details

Squarell TrailerID enables truck and trailer identification, data collection from sensors in the trailer such as temperature, door openings, mileage, speed patterns and brake data.

The functionality is not limited to truck-trailer applications; a TrailerBridge device can be used as an event recorder on any CANbus system, such as weight systems or cranes.

If the trailer is disconnected from the truck, the trailer data can be stored in an internal event recorder, which can hold up to thirty days of time-stamped data. On reconnection, the event data (with timestamp) is transferred to the truck. All process logic is configurable with the iConfigure program.

One, two or more trailers?

TrailerID system supports trailer configurations like long vehicles, dolly pull, or road train rigs. Up to 20 trailers can be identified in one road train.

Couple and uncouple

If the trailer is coupled to the tractor, the TrailerID sender sends its trailer id. At uncouple the TrailerID system sends the message that the trailer is disconnected.
